Megan has made a mistake. Her mistake was giving up on her acting career too quickly and settling for the tamer rewards of advertising. Wait, check that, her mistake was really failing to be Don's Dream Girl and Perfect Doll at all times. This episode tracks the difference between what is desired and what actually is for several characters and guests including, Don, Megan, Pete, Peggy and an insurance salesman who rides the train with Pete and his wife. Pete too is mapping the difference betweeh what should be and is and starts a fair bit of trouble trying to map that territory.As always the writing, acting and setting are wonderful but the thing that really puts us in the late sixties is the use of the opening track of the Beatle's album Revolver after being told all episode that Sterling Cooper couldn't get the Beatles. Genius! Watch and enjoy a strong mid-season episode.
